Press Release 2015

“ There was a slight unease as the first band on for the night, Birmingham based band Thirteen Shots, took to the stage. But within moments of their first song, their front man Johnny Rose, was interacting with the crowd, who responded with eagerness, shouting and clapping along to the heavy riffs the band were producing. As the set progressed, it was quite easy to see why the band relate themselves to ‘the older type, you know, the good stuff’, with retro guitar styles and vocals to suit alongside. These Brummies are ones to watch out for” Brum Live

“To describe Thirteen Shots as just a noisy garage style band, would be doing them a discredit. Mixing catchy, dare I say poppy at times, riffs with a punk edge and horror vibe,  I do feel that the band address a lot more issues in this, than in their last release. They move away from what is expected of that genre”

As of August 2015 Thirteen Shots have played over 300 shows in over 10 different countries, Supporting some of the leading bands within their genre.
